How we can benefit our community- Assist groups, especially those who are disadvantaged to gain access to the decision making processes which affect them.
- Enable people and organisations to develop expertise and skills to further their own aims and objectives.
- Support community groups to bid for funding.
- Work with our partner organisations to help them achieve their common goals.
- Support community groups to resolve conflicts between/among them.
- Work in partnership with Commission for Racial Equality to ensure that public authorities are in compliance with their Race Equality Duty.
How we can benefit individuals
- Provide advice and assistance to people who complain about racial discrimination and harassment.
- Assist statutory / voluntary agencies to ensure that they include ethnic minority needs in their service provision and employment strategies.
- Promote the provision of equality of opportunity for all communities in Worcestershire.
- Undertake public education to promote a harmonious community.
